I'm looking for spriters to help with this project. If anything, I only need help with getting a grabbed sprite for these people. If anyone's interested in it, do let me know here or PM. ^^

Just to bring this up (and to add it to the first post as well) This project is meant to be a community project!. Yes, originally I made this project for myself just to give myself something to do, and to do something for the community that I liked to do (and which really, wasn't done that much). As time went on and I stopped spriting, I still wanted this to keep going and didn't really WANT to end it (even though I had considered it many times in the past), so I tried to find people who'd be interested in helping on it. Around that time I figured why not make this a community project? Sure, I didn't really advertise it as such, and probably should have, and sure, not THAT many people work on this project (hell, I don't know how many are even interested IN this project at this time and day), but I will keep this project open to anyone who is willing to work on it, whether it be to add more to the project itself, or to show off what they made (as Balthazar and Toshio have been doing).
Hell, if anything, it makes it easier to give criticism to them no? Right? Right!? @_@

Just to bring this up (and to add it to the first post as well) This project is meant to be a community project!. And since I just brought this over, might as well bring over the new stuff that people may or may not have seen!

Worked a bit on Cirno's MB for once! Only because I didn't feel like sitting around for 2-3 hours converting videos and doing nothing! I'll post the entire animation so far:
Most recent one is at the end. Yeah, I know, I could do better with spriting but eh...I haven't sprited in ages, and I never was THAT good of a spriter to begin with. If anyone wants to touch up on these sprites, go for it. On another note, I would like to welcome another member to the project! 西行寺 幽々子 is our new spriter, and has done a MB for Tenshi, based on the artwork below:

Still a few things here and there to fix up, but nothing too big. I can probably do that myself, unless anyone else wants to beat me to it ^^
Once Cirno's MB is done, I'll release another pack, which is going to be chalk full of Shocks and this MB. I'll also more than likely be releasing all of Sky's MBs in that pack, if he allows it. I'll just have to make sure I HAVE them all x_x

EDIT: And yes, I AM still looking for people to help on this project! The Touhou MBs I'll get to eventually with the draining animations, but I WOULD like to get some of these Smash MBs done (the ones that I'm going to use, depending if they exist for MUGEN, are Jigglypuff, Yoshi, Zelda, Ivysaur (which I don't think he does yet..), Kirby, and possibly Charizard, but again, depends if they exist for MUGEN).
And yes, I am still looking for anyone willing to work with me on this! Stand sprites, grabbed sprites, drain sprites....whatever! Stand and grabbed sprites are the only things that really deter me from working more on this (draining sprites, while they ARE tedious to me nowadays...I can still do those). If anyone is interested in helping me out on this project, drop me a PM or a reply here! Any help would be highly appreciated!

I've had some help over the past couple years with it. Some from Kinto2006 whom I haven't seen in ages....dunno what happened to him. The Reimu shock from Jynx who also vanished from the face of the earth, then some MBs from Sky79, and then my most recent helpers Aionios and whatever her name is cuz it's always in Japanese! Of course, not to say that Darkgirl didn't do her fair share, especially with the Touhou MBs. ^^
The Smash sprites I found just last week, which will be very nice to use IF they exist in MUGEN. Of course, only going to even USE some of those MBs for those characters (mainly Yoshi and Jigglypuff out of that entire sheet really). Just need help doing so, and the motivation to get what I have done done x_x The last thing I even MANAGED to complete was Mina's shock sprite, and that took like 3-4 months just to do! Still have to finish Cirno's MB, which I started like 4 months ago and SHOULD have had already done >_<

Hiya people! Guess what? I have SOME motivation to do something! What's that? It's not a Midnight Bliss, oddly enough. Instead, it's fixing up a shock sprite that I think really REALLY needs it....but who you wonder? Well....it's just Lilith's shock from Darkstalkers. Why hers? Because I don't like how it looks originally. I was motivated into doing this (aside from talking to Blue Blood about her project in her thread) by Jesuszilla's fix-up of Felicia's shock sprite....comparisons so far....
First is original, second is edited. What's different you ask? Only the face, since that's really the only issue I have with THIS particular shock sprite. HOWEVER, the main part is fixing up the X-Ray sprite...
That's the original sprite. If I can actually MOTIVATE myself enough, I'mma try to fix that up to look...well....better! For which Lilith? Who knows! Could be used for ANY of em for all I care! Just trying something to motivate myself! Hopefully I'll have a bit more progress later tonight on the actual Shock itself, but if anyone wants to help with that face on the first one, go for it. That's the best I could do, but even I feel that it's....awkward and doesn't fit right.

I have come to the conclusion that I really CANNOT do any spriting at all now. Am I complaining and moaning about it? Nope. But I am going to have to step down from doing any spriting for this project at all. I have no patience to do shocks now, and I cannot do anything but drains for Midnight Blisses, so I am not of much use for this project otherwise. However! This does not mean I am closing it. Everyone is still welcome to help out in it if they so desire. Just don't expect me to do anything here myself unless I get a grabbed sprite to work from (which I have at least ONE that I can do...I suppose).
So if anyone wants to take over this project, go for it. All up to you guys~

I'mma do my own sprite again like I did with Mina!"...and went to try one for Maori. Was working....to a degree. Then tried to do one for Rimururu...which didn't work at all. Was more messy than anything else. I MAY still try to do Maori over the others....but whether or not I even do that...we'll see....I may post later tonight on what I do with her if I do so~

Yes, I actually went through and tried to do this (using a Vanguard Princess shock sprite as a base, because lord if I can do this without any bases), and I have to say, it's not turning out half bad. Original sprite for comparison.

Well! Funny that I wanted to make a shock, and Aionos is able to come back! And with something really well done!

That is all. That should be a hint as to what I'm doing right now. Sure, it's not Midnight Blisses like I SHOULD BE DOING....but it's SOMETHING I thought people might enjoy. If anything, trying to motivate myself into working lol...

Why is this so fun all of a sudden!? A lot was copy/paste from sprites with minor fixing up, but still! It's just....really fun to do this. I'm confused by it...now if only I had more fun doing everything else I do lol x_x
